The view from our room was magnificent. Their beach side facilities are also great. It was a very relaxing stay. Next time we will go for more than two days. Their restaurant offers delicious dishes and authentic local cuisine.
fantastic location -best in Positano - friendly family run hotel - on the beach -large bedroom with huge balcony and deck chairs overlooking the sea- the climb up and down the stairs to the hotel from where you leave the car is hectic ,but once you in ,no problem . Great time had and highly recommended
just the stairs getting down into the hotel initially . [this wouldnt apply if you caught the ferry into positano and walked along
We truly enjoyed the staff attention to detail and helpfulness. The restaurant on site was fanstastic (try the mozarella and lemon leaf picked from their garden) the hotel was a ten minute walk form the main beach, but the beach in front of the hotel was infinitely better. Absolutely loved it!
The shower was a bit off, no hot water, no shower curtain (so the water was eevrywhere), and made it a bit less enjoyable.
The staff and location was great! Right on Fornillo beach, better than the overly crowded Spaggia Grande. Not to mention the food in the restaurant was very good as well. Very charming and authentic Italian villa experience. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Only complaint, was that there was no iron in the room.
Right on the beach, so easy access to relaxation; hotel staff very nice
Breakfast buffet was the worst of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy. It was on the expensive side, and didn't quite seem to merit the high cost we paid, which was at the end of September and not during high season.
The location on the beach was ideal, all other hotels in Positano must walk down many stairs to get to the beach. The hotel had a path with no stairs to get to the city center and Positano was beautiful.
Getting to the hotel was difficult. It is at the base of the mountain right on the beach, but the road does not go down to the hotel. You must walk about a quarter mile, go down 72 steps and use 2 elevators to descend to the hotel level from the road. But once there it was worth it.
Room decor was very out dated. Bathroom was not very clean (damp patches and mold on walls) Shower head was broken. I was expecting alot more concidering the nightly rate per room.
Great place a little hard to find but worth finding.
Practical unpossible to find the hotel because it is not written in any place.
We loved the location and the hotel is set alone a a small beach. Staff were friendly and we had a room with a balcony that opened out onto a beautiful seaside view. It was very realxing!
The terrace restaurant was lovely but I would have liked a bit more variety in the menu.
Situated on the less touristy beach in Positano which enhances the tranquility of nature and surrounds. Great beach bar right on the beach for cocktails - run by friendly people - attending to sunbeds/towels etc. for your comfort. Hotel has a good restaurant too. Definitely chilled-out factor which goes well with the simplicity of the south of Italy. The view from your the room onto the sea is superb! One should mention that the hotel have "gutsy" porters which carries your luggage all the way down to the hotel and back-up at departure.
I think they can start looking at renewing bed matresses.
Quiet beachfront location. Ideal for spending your days on the beach.
She is old, she is tired and she is in disparate need of TLC!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the evening Stunning scenery
Our A/C was broken and never really got fixed, but night staff was very helpful and did their best to help us!
The beach is near the hotel. Good seaview from the room.
The rooms at the same price are different. The parking is located too far from the hotel, you are to climb the steep hill.
It is all there. Beach, Food and the ability to relax without moving..
Rooms are a little tired and facilities need a basic upgrade. Nothing dramatic, but slow running water, alot of paint peeling off the exterior walls and like.
